Same CPU as my Terrahost dedi too, perfect. I’ll give it a proper going over tomorrow but this looks like a winner so long as the disk aren’t appalling.
Having a bit of a play with the API and christ it's certainly _eclectic _- no tokens or anything, just plain username/password auth that then has to be RSAd with iKoula's key - even though it's over SSL
Suspect unless anyone much smarter than me has made a library, this is going to stay as a "there if you desperately need it" rather than a full function
Not had much time with it so far, seems OK, will run my usual setup tonight then put it through it's paces over the weekend, Seems fine for now, really just the network I want to have a good look at, so we'll how it copes with 2.5TB of inbound data.
"A single swap file or partition may be up to 128 MB in size. [...] [I]f you need 256 MB of swap, you can create two 128-MB swap partitions." (M. Welsh & L. Kaufman, Running Linux, 2e, 1996, p. 49)
Not enough storage and no iGPU as far as I can see, but thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Anecdotally, Ikoula's network seems a bit iffy. Remote terminal responses randomly take seconds to come back. Video via remote desktop has noticeable tearing and jumps. I'll do proper investigation over the weekend as I migrate my workload.

@Hxxx I owe you beer or two.
I mean in your budget you can have like two of those!
Haven't bought a single service in VirMach Great Ryzen 2022 - 2023 Flash Sale.

@Nekki did they charge you VAT? Oneprovider just leave it so wondering how Ikoula do things
It’s tempting as that is, I shall resist.
If anything I’d retain the Terrahost server and ditch WalkerServers.
It says they do, but they didn’t for me, but that’s likely because I live in post-Brexit Britain.
Ah perfect! Brit here too
Disks are 7 year old WD Se’s, no errors logged in SMART.

Can I take your TerraHost? Please
If it goes there’s someone ahead of you in the queue I’m afraid.
YABS as below
@nekki lets see how you install and configure your bare metal servers, how do you put in use igpu, plex? a profitable coin? tell us
O yeh. I recollect. If he passes it pls consider me
Sure, but don’t get your hopes up, he’s mad keen.
Interesting, I lucked out and got a i3-4130
it's fine you are probably 40 and still function right?
A bit older and barely, but yeh
To be honest, probably going to drop this next month and keep my other box - dual core CPU of that age isn't really up to much
What’s the ‘other one’?
Xeon quad I'm afraid - 4TB, 16GB in Paris via oneprovider
I thought the whole point of you doing this was to end up with one box not two!
I'm definitely ditching one, getting everything I need for €18 is FAR too appealing.
2-1=2 🤷♂️
2 + 1 - 1 - 1 = profittt?
How is the box @Nekki so far?
