Can you elaborate? I’d like to clear any confusion and I don’t know how we look similar except the name.
Yes, the name similarity. Why fossbilling? Few alternatives:
Freebilling
OSbilling
OpenBilling
We chose FOSSBilling because FOSS stands for "Free Open Source Software".
A few ideas were thrown around, but as a team we agreed on that and felt it was the one to move forward with.
I personally see no problem with it and I doubt we'd consider rebranding it
Although it is mostly used as a solution for hosting businesses, there is no reason why you can't use FOSSBilling for any other kind of online business
I have not used FOSSBilling, so I can't comment based on personal experience.

I'll give it a go and share the results next week.
We absolutely agree. The documentation needs a lot of work. But due to us having so limited time, we would appreciate any kind of contribution from the community. We still are doing our best though.
Our documentation does need a lot of work, both in terms of documentation for the end user and for developers.
I've started documenting functions inside our code so we will be able to generate documentation for developers which will help elevate one issue at least.

Hi @localhost!
At https://GitHub.com/FOSSBilling the README.md seems to answer your question:

Good morning! From FOSSBilling's Discord:
I haven't looked at the demo yet.
Hope you all enjoy a wonderful day!

Threw it on a server and before you improve the UI you may want to do some documentation work. Virtually no documentation past the install stage.
Just my 2 cents good luck with the project.
"I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for that meddling Frankz and Mason!!"

It'll get there. Slowly, but surely
