Hey, technically I had looked at the specs, just couldn't remember them and it's still Pending. But I mean, 2 months ago I had one shared hosting plan that all my sites ran on for the last 13 years and one VPS that I used for wireguard. Then I found this site and LET. Now, 2 months later, I, uh... have 7 VPS, 4 shared hosting plans, a seedbox, and a really super cheap dedi (KS-1).

So, I gotta figure out exactly what all I bought so I can figure out which ones to keep idling and which ones to cancel before they rebill!

The lowend creed is to buy the servers first then figure out what to do with them. They can idle for a while, but the moment you think about canceling one without buying another to replace it with that is the time to figure out something to do with it. LowEndProviders have to eat too you know. /j

I think more relevant is that it's piracy, which is pretty common not to permit (see the ToS of basically every hosting service in existence)

They allow bittorrent so not sure about. Why would they care? If they get a DMCA notice they take down the server and that's the end of it.

But it seems I was wrong about the pornography angle.

BitTorrent is against their AUP actually.

I'm going by what VirMach said in the forums: basically he said they were ok as long as you didn't break the "mass public file storage" clause.

So bittorrent is fine as long as you don't do it with a lot of files.

You can always set up redundant web servers so you will not lose millions when you main server goes down.
DNS servers are always a quick easy use for smaller VPS.
mastodon instance is the in fad for larger ones or a couple of smaller ones and a big one tied together.
Stats and monitoring server to watch all your other servers and report when they go down or have issues.
If you want more suggestion you can always open a new thread and ask. I am sure that you will get many suggestions.

Today is gonna be new soon™. Like 11 more hours and I will be able to meme that VirMach was supported to ticket me last year.

Haven't bought a single service in VirMach Great Ryzen 2022 - 2023 Flash Sale.

I probably will end up making a thread at some point. But this one sounds like it wouldn't be terribly hard, and probably a great use of a super-low resource VPS! This will be my next project.

The normal live cycle is "Buy -> YABS -> Idle" ... When you find better one "Cancel -> BuyPromo -> YABS -> Idle"
