Theoreticaly it is possible, but in practice - no one will do this with the sane mind. Js is for UX and the most hated thing in UI is refreshes. In shoping you want to guide customer to payment as fast as possible. Without js there will be more clicks and possibly more abandoned carts.

I would say that no sane person would put JS in their project if they care about security and privacy of their customers.
Javascript stinks and should not be used for anything that can be replaced with clean HTML/CSS.
For loading the gateaway and shit like that, there are always https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_iframe.asp

Lunacy. Javascript is safe to the level that it is used in banking applications. Privacy is an ilusion which also can be shatered with 1x1px image.
Technology is for a reason. Html/css was cool in 1999, move on.

Client side security with js is a joke, and you all know this.

I don't see why it couldn't happen without js. I guess I didn't realize js was a prerequisite for a payment gateway.
"I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for that meddling Frankz and Mason!!"
