LF 512MB RAM KVM

iandkiandk Hosting ProviderOG

Hi,

I'm looking for a cheap small KVM in Europe.
Price should be below 15€ per year.

  • 1 vCore
  • 512MB RAM
  • Few GB HDD or SSD (SSD would be a huge plus)
  • 250GB+ traffic
  • Native IPv6

Thanks!

  • There is virtono.
They have 512mb SSD KVM for about11$.
    Multiple locations.
They are not a member of LES, but I have one for about 6 months now and fairly decent. Can promise though. ?

  • hello @iandk - @freerangecloud might have something suitable (unadvertised - but they sometimes can do a custom deal in that price range). Nothing fancy, just a simple and stable service - and they are all about the IPv6.

  • I know it's slightly out of budget, but...

    BuyVM in LUX

    • 512mb detotated wam
    • unmetered traffic (1gbit)
    • 10gb ssd
    • IPv4 + IPv6

    2$/mo

Alternatively, $10 every 6 months so $20/y ... Still a bit over budget, but worth IMO

availability usually limited to the 1st and 7th of the month if any cancellations - https://buyvmstock.com can be useful for notifications

@Francisco might could confirm specifics of "Native" IPv6 support and latest on plans for deploying Ryzen nodes in LU ...?

Last time i checked you could add individual IPv6 from stallion.

It looks like it is still the same, sadly. So i guess no native IPv6? Unless you can use the whole subnet directly and use the panel only for rDNS.

Thanks, will probably go with BuyVM unless @AnthonySmith has some nice KVM deals :D

I am hoping to find time to put out a deal today but honestly, I have not really considered what that will be specifically yet and you can't go wrong with BuyVM anyway.

Please do not use the PM system here for Inception Hosting support issues.

  • @AlexBarakov : any Arubacloud refugee wireguard special (yearly billed)? 500GB bw ought to do it.

I checked yesterday and all your tempting BlackFriday KVMs are now marked OoS ?

I'd rather buy from UK/NL/DE from a small list of trusted providers.

We've been trying to decide how to improve our IPV6.

One of the proposed ideas is:

    • Single primary IPv6, can't be changed
    • /48 routed to the VPS via said IP (or the link-local)
    • RDNS still done in stallion per IP, but maybe we could prefer delegated instead?

    We'd then support DHCPv6.
