I would prefer something European. I see they have their hardware in Finland and the Netherlands, bot are great locations for me. But anything else would be great as well. YABS and Monster Bench if possible.
They declare that their company has the best and powerful VPSes on the market and no company is a competitor to them. So I'd like to see before buying if it's really true or just marketing statements 5$ plan is enough

Anyone has UpCloud VPS? Any bench?
Which tier and what location would you prefer?

Hi @cybertech, what is the best 7$ VPS offer you recommend?

$7-mark VPSes are mostly just decent as I observed, smarthost probably is one of them.
Holding one from hotlineservers that's not bad considering 4vCPU dedicated, 8gb ram, 160GB SSD, nested virt.
Most are normal E5s.
Ready dedis had 55% off recently and I tried their 4 X 3700x vCPU , 4GB ram for $7.65. Superb.
See if tetahost has anything. Good clocks there.
Conclusion depends on use case. For high clocks haven't found too many for that.

Separately, can you run a speedtest for Asia?

Can you tell me the command so I can run it?

As for me I know the easier way, but it's not YABS, it's Monsterbench
curl -LsO bench.monster/speedtest.sh; bash speedtest.sh -asia
Did run upcloud.

Will message you. If you can reply back on PM... that this thread will remain focused on YABS only

Have you ever tried servarica? Their 7$ package seems nice but there arent much review about them.
Never but I recall seeing some feedback that it's good. CPU wise similar tier as others.
