Recently bought a jearly vm from them (might’ve been a bit reckless in hindsight) and that’s still working.
Pricing has never been questionably low with Tetahost, so this kinda surprises me. Especially because both their servers at OVH and Hetzner seem down?
Ok maybe it is just their own website, client area up/down?
From the discussion on the other side site I understand that their shared hosting services are down altogether.
Their own website resolves to 127.0.0.1. Might as well be a dns-error, because they recently changed their dns servers.
I had some problems with my VM at Tetahost and contacted them a few times last week. Adrian's solved this pretty well, considering he had to contact Virtualizor.
I still have not yet claim free 1 year DA hosting coupon with them..

iirc CloudNS returns 127.0.0.1 when there's a late payment (that happened with MXroute)
They seem to use GleSYS, but from a cached whois I noticed that they used Hetzner dns until 2 days ago. So there may have been some payment problems with Hetzner.
What strikes me is that they've incorporated exactly 1 year and 3 months ago.
I didn't really lose any data. Took the gamble for some db testing on an NVMe vps. The NVMe had limited IOPS and Tetahost needed som time to solve this - it only was solved Friday. And that's a bit strange to be fair. If they were planning to deadpool, they could've just refunded me and get it over with.
I am just saddened by the manner of the exit. There is no shame if the business is not sustainable. Just make sure customers are well taken care of instead of disappearing like that.

It's the easiest way out. Although the address is public, nobody here will fly to Romania to get back our money in person.
Even though pricing wasn't really unsustainable (as everything ran on OVH/Hetzner you can easily conclude that) maybe there was just no customer base to pay the bills.

I would've thought so too. But they've been registered since 2019 and the Romanian counterpart Reohost (which was up until recently) has been providing services for years. So I wouldn't call it a real Summerhost.

My account is the shared hosting on 'free' account they had offered earlier in the year, so no financial harm.
But services are indeed down.
@debaser just checked the other green forum. Some discussion around the topic is indeed taking place.

Is the billing area up or down though?
usually a big sign as if it is down they can't even fully process payments, no host has that down for 30 hours if they plan to come back up.

I Decided to make it obvious who the Op was but use the system account as the OP on the new post so they don't get bombarded with notifications.

Managed to find the IP-address for the client area (WHMCS): connection timed out.
Virtualizor management also down. VPS still up though. Will probably stay up until 4 September.
