Best jurisdiction & provider for publishing dicey content somewhat anonymously
Like a blog that might attract some unwanted attention.
Nothing too dramatic and not illegal, but should be someone that doesn't cave at the first sign of a BS lawyer letter drafted in crayon.
I'm thinking cloudflare in front of Hetzner maybe? They're presumably well versed in German law etc
How good are domain provider's privacy whois things in this regard?
Would prefer my running my own stack...so VPS.

If you want someone to not to cave at the first bs legal letter, hetzner should be your last option. @Francisco with his LOL (Law of Land) policy, you should be good.
Nexus Bytes Ryzen Powered NVMe VPS | NYC|Miami|LA|London|Netherlands| Singapore|Tokyo

don't use hetzner unless you are placing a own reverse proxy in front, cloudflare is not gonna work as they forward complaints to your host.
fran is a good option or any ruski vps provider.
@Francisco at LU, should be able to help, provided you aren't involved in something way too risky / shady / illegal.

The website looks like shit, but they've been hosting highprofile targets for 20 years. Just ask piratebay.
Haha...thankfully I don't need actual bulletproof type stuff.
Thanks I shall have a look
Stay away from Hetzner

I actually don't know. Tried to find some info about the company, but they have switched owners and company name so often it's impossible to keep up. Tracked down like 5 different Swedish AB's and then it seems the ownership was sold to someone outside of Sweden, and I don't know how to check up on companies in other countries so I just gave up.
Hetzner will pull your drives if requested by the authorities. Just stick with Frantech, @Francisco does good stuff.
BuyVM @Francisco would be you're best choice they don't care how controversial it is as long as it legal.
