I checked with customer support the 2tb storage is for the 1st year only it seems

Hm... The storage is most likely Interserver- they have been typing up with VPN providers, I would pass on the storage and look at the PVN part only- a dollar a month is not bad; $ 3 with static ip.

I should mention the VPS special ("vServer Schnupperspecial 2021 NVMe") from PHP-Friends that has just appeared:

Usually, their Schnupperspecial arrives earlier (at the end of October), so strictly speaking, this special isn't a BF special (despite the proximity to BF this year).

Could well be. The main reason I ordered one is that this their first special based on their G3 platform, with relatively new hardware and NVMe. Relatively it’s a better deal than most of the deals from the last year too.
