I bought a Singapore dedicated server from shockhosting last year, when shockhosting had a promotion, I bought one for 35USD/month after using a coupon code, this coupon is a Recurring Coupon, but after using it for one year, shockhosting changed the price to 45USD secretly without any notice in advance, I am wondering why does shockhosting do this?

Hi @lovehc, unfortunately inflation and the cost of electricity have been rapidly increasing over the past year so we have been forced to increase the price of some specially discounted (65% off) dedicated servers in certain high-cost locations such as Singapore.
For example, Singapore just increased electricity rates by 10% in March for a total of 30% over the past year.
We sent you an email with advance notice regarding this situation the other month so it wasn't a secret price increase by any means. Also we have been absorbing the increased costs over the past year but it has gotten to the point where we have to pass the cost along.
