Online.net - OVH on steroids
Hello,
I would like to say that I'm happy with my Online.net dedicated server. The plan is START-2-L with specs:
1x Intel® Xeon® D-1531 6C/12T - 2.2 GHz
32 GB RAM DDR4 ECC
2 x 250 GB SSD
300 Mbps Network - but it goes up to 1 Gbps
Location: Paris DC 2
Price: 23.99 € / mo
The support is very quick. I had 2 tickets and waited about 10-20 mins for them to give me an answer.
Additional IP price is 1.99€ - I'm not paying VAT because I have a second non-EU passport.
Their panel is easy to use, adding failover IP + MAC address, rDNS is easy peasy. 2-FA supported.

I thought online.net isnt recommended in the past.

A few years ago I had some dedicated servers with them, support was actually probably the quickest and most straight to the point, no bs wasting time replies that I've ever had. Better than any US-based server providers I've used.

Yours truly.
For France, its actually decently priced.

Well, I've bought a server via OneProvider with 2x 1TB SSD for 24.99€ but there was a catch, every additional IP was 5€ and normally they sell IPs for 2.5€ and to get answer you need to wait over 24 hours. I saw they were reselling from Online.net and that gave me an idea to buy directly via Online/Scaleway where I can get IPs for 1.99€ and get ultra-fast support even on weekend. No regrets!

Yes, Online.net is prem, just they're offering lots of old hardware. Would recommend them just like OVH.
Is this nationality-based discrimination?
But on a more serious note, how come? I thought it's about where you're located (where your billing address is located) - you mean you're using your non-EU address for this, or is this really about passports?
(depending on the answer, I may or may not have to start looking into some Carribean citizenship by investment schemes.. )

Offline.net directly sells that, however VAT, OP does not charge VAT.
According to metadedi.net its the cheapest in France, for CPU performance, which is available right now.
However Hetzner obviously beats this.
Depends if it needs to be really in france anyway.

They're not going as Online.net anymore. It's Scaleway.com. Same company, just using a different name.
We've got a few hot spares parked there. Decent boxes.
that a good performance vps
