  • For netcup fans, the Easter Egg hunt at https://www.netcup.de/ is on (in German only). There's no exhaustive list of the promotions (but see https://www.netcup-news.de/2020/04/07/ostern-2020-steckt-bei-netcup-voller-ueberraschungen/ for a taster), but apparently, there are some beefy VPSes among them, but probably none with a monthly payment term. I'll leave it at this!

"A single swap file or partition may be up to 128 MB in size. [...] [I]f you need 256 MB of swap, you can create two 128-MB swap partitions." (M. Welsh & L. Kaufman, Running Linux, 2e, 1996, p. 49)

For those looking at El Cheapo Storage:
As a paying customer, have mixed feeling about this.
I found the upload speeds to be good, download takes time - it is cold storage after all. What I did not like was their change in T & C: Had a lifetime plan, which the almost reneged on. But hey, 5 TB for one year at $ 16 is hard to beat, for those who are looking for it.

    "Zoolz Home 5TB
    +FREE Genie Timeline Home
Securely store your precious family photos, videos and documents
    $49.95 Now $15.98/yr

    – 1 User
    – Unlimited number of external devices
    – Supports Windows and Mac"

Thats a tempting offer, what do you mean with "download takes time", how slow is that? Coz $16 for a year is a good deal

Zoolz utilizes AWS Glacier, which takes time for retrievals. Those who are interested on this deal should note that zoolz only allows 1 computer/account, so you should archive or delete a computer before adding a new one.
For me, upload was also on the slow part (maxing around 8Mbps on 500Mbps line).
