Due to an increase in DMCA takedowns from users torrenting we have moved our automated torrent detection from permissive mode to enforced mode.

Anyone downloading torrents will be suspended automatically, this is a 3 strike rule and works as follows:

    1st offence: 24 hour suspension
    2nd offence: 1 week suspension
    3rd offence: 2 week suspension
    4th offence: Service termination

This is active on the UK, FR, DE, KR and CA nodes. If you believe this has been triggered unfairly you may open a support ticket and we will investigate, if you open a support ticket and we find that you have in fact breached our TOS you may have your account terminated.

Just a reminder that we take abuse seriously, we will enforce suspension and termination for any abusive activities.

The automated blocking is only in place on the locations above. All torrent activity will result in suspension as we cannot programmatically determine the content. However if someone does have legitimate use for torrents that does not breach UK/EU law we can potentially whitelist them.

All other locations do allow the use of the BitTorrent protocol although we do not condone illegal activity or breach of copyright law.

  • Hey @natvps_uk
Any updates on the new UK node?

We have the node, we’re in the process of getting our own ASN to be able to do deals with /64 and /48 ranges. Just waiting on ripe - the node is ready to go once we get the address space.

  • OpenVZ with /64 isn't very useful because addresses must be individually added to the container.
LXC with /64 is useful because LXC has real Ethernet netif and can support routed subnets.

Will we get LXC with BGP session?

    • Each BGP session consumes ¼ credit.
    • Customer can announce up to 10 prefixes and they must be RPKI valid.
    • Up to 250 updates per hour.
    • Only available in locations that can support BGP automation.

The new node is openvz although we can automate the routing, we can offer bgp in this location for no additional cost.

We will be adding a bunch of UK NAT dedis, KVM and openvz deals in the coming months which will all come with BGP.

The dedis will start from £5 per month, KVM VPS’ from £2.50 per month.

  • Bug report: I'm seeing negative values for KR bandwidth usage, like this:

Thanks @yoursunny, this is a known issue and is currently on the backlog to be fixed. It’s just a reporting issue - we can access the actual bandwidth usage.

  • 🇰🇷 Seoul, Korea
    0G/50

ok now im confused, now it shows bandwidth limit is 50 instead of 200,
    which one is correct?

It’s 100gb per credit, if you have 0.5 credits it’s technically 50GB although we won’t suspend your VM unless it breaches 100Gb.

  • yea i meant 100gb, sorry

maybe i failed to see the the AUP somewhere but im sure it was 100gb limit before.

im not a heavy bandwidth user so maybe 50gb also fine

  • why can't I add ssh key using ed25519 format? is it RSA only?

  • I wonder what's the necessity of "enable TUNTAP" button?
Why not having it enabled during container creation time?

We had considered this, the real reason is our devs just replicated the functionality from our previous panel - SolusVM.

I might just set it to be default.

    still no answer lol
I just wanted to get my ssh-copy-id or login ssh using key working
fixed this one by replacing the ssh server on my own. i don't get why it's dropbear by default, what a nonsense.
adding ssh key in panel is just a qol thing, I whine about this because this vps salt-minion keeps dying and i have to ssh to it to restart the daemon (I give the systemd service RuntimeMaxSec=1h so now it'll always restart on it's own)

It’s been built for a while but we’ve had a few performance issues and haven’t put it in production.

We’ve been working on integrating the Micronode panel for other providers which has taken priority recently although we will have some deals pretty soon. Realistically it’s probably going to be another month before we do anything special.

How is it going? Can you share any license prices? Can it do PXE boot and reinstall for dedicated servers? Are you open to paid custom coding for it?

£100 setup fee for branding etc

£20 per month per node (VMs) for businesses with NAT functionality, fully managed SaaS hosted with panel DDoS protection.

£20 per month per rack for dedicated server provisioning (minimum one rack 48u)

£75 one off fee for WHMCS integration

Personal licences will be cheaper but we’re still working on this.

Can it do PXE boot and reinstall for dedicated servers?

Yes, it supports openvz and dedicated hardware. Raspberry Pi 4s can even be automatically provisioned and all x86 hardware that supports pxe can be provisioned.

Currently on the x86 side we only support Debian, Ubuntu and Centos7/8 and a rescue mode for custom OS installs.

Are you open to paid custom coding for it?

Yes, DM me what you require.
