I have been reading up on M2 chips lately, and I think there is far more noise than signal.

For e.g.:

Rumours still persist that Apple could announce the M2 chip at WWDC 2022 and, with it, refresh the MacBook Air and the entry-level MacBook Pro.

Source: https://www.cnbctv18.com/technology/apple-wwdc-ios-16-ipados-16-macos-13-watchos-9-iphone-macbook-air-m2-chip-13599412.htm

How is this helpful in any way? Simply a verbal diarrhoea IMO. Instead,
Can
we start collating relevant, pertinent links/ information here?

e.g. 10 cores/ xx GPU Cores in M2? Which devices will get the chip?

This is also sent out to all customers, the email takes longer to process.

As of today, it is no longer possible to order the 128MB package at mrvm.net.
Customers who already purchased the 128MB package will be honored as long as these are owned.
128MB packages are not transferable to other customers.

The decision to remove the 128MB packages is based on the fact that keeping all locations updated is taking too much time, the recent announcement from PayPal that they are increasing their transaction fees.

As an effect of this decision, the discount for buying multiple services at once is changed
FROM 20% on 4 NAT products or more
TO 30% on 3 NAT products or more
The discount is added automatically at checkout, no codes needed.

Currently, mrvm.net offers these locations

EU (5) (6)
Falkenstein - Germany
Sofia - Bulgaria
Sandefjord - Norway
Reims - France
Milan - Italy
Atlanta - Georgia

APAC (5)
Sydney - Australia
Perth - Australia
Singapore - Singapore
Mumbai - India
Auckland - New Zealand

I have got NAT VM delivered recently. But the thing is, I am unable to connect using IP v4, not even able to ping that IP.
However, the IP v6 works just fine. The problem is, my ISP doesn't have IP v6 support, so I have to ssh in to one of my other VM in order to connect ip v6 instance. So, it will be really helpful if IP v4 works out.

Since yesterday the webserver is not responding very well. I have tried to check if nginx is running and listening, tried rebooting but no. Occasionally I can access the domain main page I have linked to this nat vps after waiting for a minute or so. However if I try access some file within there, after a while the cloudflare comes up with error 522 "browser: working - cloudflare:working - host:error"

After rebooting, when I created a new tmux and tried connecting to an irc server, the connection timed out at first which was strange, but then it did connect on the 2nd try. Also to the main page of the domain using web browser I got connected the same time it finally connected to the irc server possibly indicating some lag. However chatting on IRC and working on the vps through ssh has no lag at all. Pinging websites like google.fi from the vps is working normally.

I wonder what's wrong? How to debug more?

A merry Christms to all of you!

Every now and then I'm asked about a bundle topup, some way to add additional locations at the same bundle price and this christmas I will give you a special deal! All Topup orders placed before 2019-12-31 @ midnight are eligble for this deal.

No setup fee

No requirement to add additional year(s) to service(s) you already have.

I'm in the christmas spirit and will keep the requirements to a minimum. And I'll even throw in a step-by-
step guide

You have ordered a bundle previously.

You must add ALL missing locations. A bundle is a bundle

Renewal date on new locations will be set to the same as your current bundle renewal date.

You must place the order BUT do NOT pay at this point!!!!

Open a ticket requesting a bundle topup and your order number

I will update the price on your order to MATCH your bundle order!

You pay the updated invoice and get fresh new idle servers

As the Black Friday/Cyber monday deal was so popular, I've restocked Singapore, added a sixth location to the Europe and USA bundles and opened this offer up again for an additional 20 orders.

All servers below are NAT IPv4 + IPv6 enabled.

All servers come with:

1 vCPU (See FUP in terms)

256 MB RAM

5GB HDD

500 GB BW

EUROPE

Bulgaria

Norway

Germany

France

Italy

Romania

That is 6 VPS for just $18 in TOTAL for a whole YEAR!

IMPORTANT: Due to the ridiculously low pricing I am unable to entertain any change or variation under any circumstances, asking simply hurts my ability to be able to bring offers like this to the community. I appreciate your understanding.

It should go without saying but just in case, these are none refundable.

Features:

All locations have HAproxy front ends fully automated so you can host your site including https
Tun/TAP available
Fuse available
NFS available
All IPv4 are NAT
