Hello,

Looking for cheap VPS or Shared Hosting with internal WHMCS license. Some providers do provide WHMCS licenses for free for their reseller plan, but they are often too expresive. I know HostUS provides OpenVZ/KVM VPS starting $1.98/$4.35 per month and $9 per month for an internal WHMCS license.

Thanks.

Hello,

We are registered in British Columbia, Canada, and we are looking for VPS resellers in a variety of locations.

Our WHMCS can connect to your system using ready-made modules, or we can use your API to build the integration, which takes longer.

Volume discounts are not our favorite. However, we do appreciate a fixed discount rate because we would rather pay as we grow instead of paying for resources we may not need (resource pools).

We are eager to hear your offers and begin doing business with you.

So ... I am soon going to be taking the plunge. The paperwork is being submitted next week to form one of the future providers in this and other forums. Wish me luck!

Anyways ... we all need good billing and provisioning software and from what I can tell WHMCS is probably the best. But Blesta is darn good as well - just not quite up to speed with everything. So as a new provider I think that I could go with either solution. Except, thanks to @Francisco Blesta will be free to use!

I'd like to go with WHMCS, but I am worried ... worried that they (Oakley or their new owners) are going to pull another cPanel like price increase. And as a very small, new provider that would sink me. As it is the monthly fee is steep for a start up. (Yeah, I am a penny pincher!)

So, what is everyone's thoughts? Would you start new with Blesta, or is there a compelling argument for using WHMCS knowing that one day they will try to bankrupt you (not directly, but you know what I mean)?

Oh, and Billmanager from ISPSystem is not too bad ... but they do not support Direct Admin, so they are not an option.

Hello everyone from this dear forum.

I recently updated WHMCS v7 to the latest release version 8.0.4. And a very strange problem happened:

Whenever a coupon is applied, the problem occurs, the invoice has a negative value and the service is sent without receiving payment.

I've already opened a ticket on whmcs.com but I don't get answers for more than 2 days, has this problem with negative invoices ever happened to anyone? What would be the best alternative to do now?

It is not possible for us, living in capitalist economies, to prevent price increase. The most common reasons for this could be one or some combination of:

Inflation
Devaluation of Currency
Just because the owners/devs want to do it
The owners/devs want their product to be "enterprise only"
And of course there can be many other reasons as well

But how much price increase do you think is fair & would not be toll on your pocket if you also get assurance that price increase for a particular software will never be more than a fixed percentage every year?

Does it make any difference whether you get branded or unbranded license when you are getting the same features & functionality?

Would love to read opinions on this from everyone including hosting providers

For 3 days I have been suffering layer 7 attacks on my website. I will list all the measures I tried.

Cloudflare PRO with WAF

Sucuri (2 days with an open ticket and no response)

Only SSL traffic allowed, attack method blocking (HTTP 1.1 POST)

BitNinja

cpGuard

For some reason the attack seems to circumvent the cloudflare captcha and JS challenge. Requests continue to arrive at the server and cause the site to overload completely.

Solus.io finally launches at $4/m/core with Solus VM1 set to sunset 12mo to 18mo after initial

WHMCS sunsets lifetime licenses with the launch of v8.0. To add to the displeasure they remove the "unlimited customers" option and requires everyone pay $0.30/month/active or similar.

More mergers/buyouts as datacenters continue to roll out products competing with their own users.

Plesk removes their unlimited domain option.

Directadmin prunes back the amount of OS' they support to allow them to make it easier to maintain the product.
