(Quote) Don't be so hasty. Still seeing high CPU usage that is being caused by the software. Intermittent errors with the backup jobs being run (SSH errors). Too busy elsewhere to dig in further, got others reporting different errors and issues ba…

Yup, few bugs, the high CPU usage I am seeing is definitely coming from JetBackup, too busy with other things to spend more time with it, for now, I am sure others will be reporting the bugs.

Everyone from here should be activated, no need to message me :) and if you do need anything please use the new ticket system. Still got a few other pending requests and quite a few tickets in progress. But we are nearly there with the new system.…

(Quote) This early, on a live server? Let me know before you do it so I can make backups. Seeing many bugs being found already, high CPU usage is a real concern before any backups set.

JetBackup has released an Alpha. Get testing. CentOS 7 only. https://billing.jetapps.com/dl.php?type=d&id=399

(Quote) You should be able to create a hosting account, I see your account, but no hosting request.

(Quote) Migration to my new custom panel, all good.

(Quote) You wondering why the uptime is so good and the site is speedy?
-
Saw your account, got about 35 signups which I imagine is a crowd of migrators, all accounts have been activated. Near shit myself when I saw all the signups :). then realised it was all familiar people.

(Quote) So yeah, possibly, but not an issue for me anymore.

I may also look for a way to put a note in DA that nobody can remove just to state it is a free service.

For reference I was using FraudLabs, stock was limited and so on, was not preventing account creations though. Makes no difference now, in a better place. (Quote) Always welcome.

(Quote) Yup, all of that, probably didn't help that I taunted them as I refused to give in. Even when someone emailed me suggesting I would get a commission on their sales of my service. I resisted, good offer though, 22.5% :)

I felt so sorry for the person that emailed me asking why their account had been cancelled, they paid a company in China $10 for one of my free accounts, recurring monthly... He got 6 Days to use it before I cancelled it. A bit gullible paying tha…

To those asking, yes, I may open-source the completed control panel, give me time, it's not fully complete yet!

Also, thanks again to the members here and on LET who did bug checking for me, appreciated.

Honestly, I used to think China and India were the worst for abusing anything but all of the users from India are amongst the nicest people using the service.

(Quote) Who? It's just a licenced image from Themeforest I got years ago and never used, until now.

(Quote) I read it as I need hosting for my billing portal as it is getting attacked as a result of the Minecraft hosting offered.

Having spent a few days building scripts with the DA API I have to say, gimmie a REST API. I mean, I get it, the current one is old but language agnostic which is fine depending on which way you roll an implementation. Not a big thing I know, it w…

Chinese, even on my free service. Even after marking virtually every order as fraud and not giving in to DDoS threats they are now emailing saying that they will give me a cut of whatever they make when reselling the accounts..

There is something missing in this story.

(Quote) Not really the servers providing the services that are at risk, more my website at DigitalOcean. We will see what happens, not phased by it. What some users don't like is that I am on top of what they are doing when services are given. On…

So it finally happened, the service has started getting attention from China and I am getting threats now that if I don't provide service they will DDoS. Surprised it has taken so long to be fair.
-
(Quote) Which is how it should be right? people pay for a service that they don't know to do themselves.

(Quote) Are they paying what you ask? They are entitled to open those tickets?

(Quote) Well, I get it. I mean, the fact is the general hosting populous know cPanel, regardless of what anyone here who is savvier on this type of thing thinks. Few end-users know or care about older this or weirdness that. It works, for most th…

(Quote) Indeed, all existing cPanel locations are oversubscribed. I really wasn't expecting it to be so, imbalanced. Since the cPanel options were removed signups have plummeted. Not that I care about numbers but it's kind of odd, the people that …

I use GApps for my main email address, I need reliability for both me and my wife, never had any issues in all the years I have used it. For everything else, I switched to MXRoute. Jarland is committed to the service, had no issues. I was using m…
