Yeah, I've done a similar config using a dedi that just had a couple of additional IPs and not an additional subnet. Route the IPs on the host then used a pointopoint setup in the guest. Works fine just not normally able to set it up on the guest a…

Hoping to put together a bullseye template this weekend. Will probably hold off on my desktop just as I was planning on change the drive configuration any (adding some NVMes I think) and do a clean install lol.

(Quote) Yeah it is a great piece of kit. I prefer the "issues" style of dealing with things rather than trello style boards too.
-
(Quote) Yeah I feel like it's somewhat wasted with what I use it for currently lol

I always prefer to self host where possible so it has that advantage - but it does like a lot of RAM. I've ran it with 1gb RAM and swap, but as you start to add users/traffic it needs more. The issues feature is probably the main feature I use othe…

I use gitlab for a lot of things. It's a bit OTT for most things but being able to link the code repo to it and then reference issues in commits is handy. Some clients have their own systems (usually either basecamp or trello).

(Quote) We do a 1 core, 1gb RAM, 15gb NVMe plan for £3.75/month (Blesta is showing that as ~$5.30) but if you wanted a couple (and it would help out a fellow LES member) we could do something on price for you. Don't have Mexico but do have New York …

What's your budget? Do you know ideal spec? If it's just apache and postfix it won't need to be a big VPS, unless you wanted to run rspamd/spamassasin too.

(Quote) Dunno what they're using but on proxmox you can use this: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/cpu-models.conf.5.html

(Quote) They've got dedis but the OnApp vps line is still UK only.

Oh I don't remember that one?

(Quote) Can confirm this is the case, but OP wanted US. We're on Clouviders network in the US, and Hetrix is showing 99.9998% uptime in NY, but we don't currently have network/replicated storage there. (Quote) I think I got one if it's the offer I…

What about setting up a he.net IPv6 tunnel at home? https://tunnelbroker.net/

Interesting. What's the WHMCS proxmox module like? Anyone used it? Didn't cociu have some issues with the WHMCS version previously or am I thinking of something else? I'd consider backing this - I'll try and find some reviews on the WHMCS version

To start things off, we'll do a storage offer (although I realise there's storage in Helsinki above (UK storage coming soon!)). I'll add some NVMe offers in the morning ;) * 1 core 2 core (see below) * 1gb ECC RAM 2gb ECC RAM (see below) * 1tb HDD …

(Quote) No, I don't power it up often. Just did out of curiosity and ssh is timing out while trying to connect. That's annoying.

(Quote) I've got a RaQ 4r, still works. Got the original OS/etc on it.

RedHat 6 (I think) from a magazine while I was in last few years of school. Didn't get on with it and a few other friends who'd tried the same CD had switched and were trying Debian - so I installed Slackware. Ran just Slackware for a few years, e…
