I moved from pihole to AdGuard Home a year ago. I allow incoming port 53 on local connection only and the rest handled by DNS over TLS via port 853.

Without any clarity from you, the best option would be buy a cheapskate VPS with IPv4 or buy a shared hosting.

Check with your provider: * if they have HAProxy, then you could point A record on cloudflare DNS to shared public IPv4 and enable clpudflare proxy * if they did not have HAProxy, then you could point AAAA record to public IPv6 address of your VPS …
