(Quote) Unlucky, try again in a day or two. Paid migration might get quicker turnaround but that's just a guess. I've had migrations fail one day and work the next, so just be patient and come back tomorrow.

(Quote) Did you try to move to every region? I just moved one of my (smaller) VMs and everything worked fine.
-
(Quote) That means that region is out of stock. If it's a free migration, there is no guarantee that you will be able to move. Where are you trying to go?

I just keep a few of those HostHatch bundles handy, I think individually they're like $6/year or something like that. A little more than NAT but it's nice having NVMe, 10g, and private networking, as well as my own v4 and /64 v6. Probably not great …

(Quote) Checked and it 100% was VMSpecialist. It looks like MrVM is going through some turbulence as well though.
-
(Quote) Was that the one that deadpooled? It was MrVM or ExoticVM or VMSpecialist or one of those.

(Quote) I generally stay away from NAT services to begin with, too many hoops to jump through. WebHorizon is pretty good from what I remember, there's also Gullo VPS. Depending on use case it's probably worth it to either get an IPv6 only VPS from s…

(Quote) They are, a lot of providers either don't care or don't know how to make them optional. I just avoid those providers as it shows they can't use WHMCS properly.
-
(Quote) Doesn't need repeating when the whole story is in that post. I remember when these communities would work to drive people like you out, now it seems people are a lot more forgiving.

(Quote) Hi, also curious why you didn't just let WHMCS auto terminate the service. If the customer wanted it terminated sooner, they would have set it to terminate sooner. I know if a hosting company did this to be, the trust would be broken and I w…

(Quote) Funny to think he's still sane.

I'm also on SJC005B and my VMs are fine. Seems like user error.

(Quote) My SLAs can't be beat, best in the industry :sunglasses:

(Quote) I'll happily stick a box in my garage right next to my heater, 5mbps shared across the node, guaranteed 30% uptime

That looks rough, at least they offered to extend your service (that they deleted). Hopefully they end up making things right, there's not many LE providers in India.
-
Makes me a little sad how people who openly offered to purchase hacked client databases are allowed to post offers here. I guess there's a need for drama on this forum though.

(Quote) Time for that to change :sunglasses:

I vote for shoving everyone into Denver and hoping for the best

@Abdullah natVPS maybe?

(Quote) I love premature celebrations, count me in!

(Quote) Maybe all my archiveteam warriors finally killed the poor thing. Rest in peace.

(Quote) Same boat here (minus the suspension). I believe it's being worked on, I saw some activity on my ticket. Hoping you're next!
-
(Quote) I'm sure they know the node is down since that page is their own monitoring, they might just be too busy to fill out the network status page in WHMCS. Still worth a ticket though :)
-
(Quote) Node appears to be down.

(Quote) Took maybe 45 minutes getting my workload set up across the 6 or so VMs that I got, I'll just let them hammer away at their task until they get deleted. Overall I consider it worth it, they'll be useful for the few days they're active.
-
(Quote) I can always order 32 more free vms
-
I feel bad for grabbing one of the free instances, I'll probably just run archiveteam on it + yabs on cron or something.

(Quote) I'll never give up my $25/year idler

(Quote) Just FYI, you can use netboot.xyz from grub pretty easily. Just follow these steps: apt update && apt install grub-imagebootmkdir /boot/imagescd /boot/imageswget https://boot.netboot.xyz/ipxe/netboot.xyz.isoupdate-grub2(if you're no…

(Quote) I noticed this too, you have to install alma first, then Debian.

(Quote) Most remote hands techs are idiots across the board. If you need their help often or for something, most of the time it's cheaper to fly to the DC yourself or just to hire contractors. I can think of maybe 10 experiences I've had with datace…

(Quote) As anyone who's had to migrate bulk infrastructure knows, a lot can go wrong, especially when changing environments (new IP, new hardware, new DC, new transit). My uptime with VirMach has stayed solidly at 99.86% throughout the migration (be…
