The oracle ban hammer works in mysterious ways. What I'm doing isn't even technically inside the free tier but its not activated as a paid a/c so gets zerod

(Quote) Don't think the supplier can tell the difference? I've currently got no card loaded and its been fine for year+. They only seem to check right at the end of trial period

Surprised there isn't a self-hosted version of this. Like in theory text should be easier than say speech

They seem to get kicked out if you don't have a valid card on file at the 30 day mark (or maybe it was 90 not sure)...whatever the trial term is Don't think it is region related

(Quote) Seems like two contradicting claims? Native sounding sentences by people with good command of English tend to be complex

(Quote) I suspect the bigger risk is that these get outdated within record time. £245 for 2TB, meanwhile a 2TB NVME is $139.99 on Amazon. (note gbp vs usd). Missing redundancy of course, but to me this is looking shaky right now already never mind …

(Quote) Thanks for the links. Yeah that was me re fly. Yes this actually started with me trying to use the redis labs stuff someone posted in the free stuff thread a day back. Redis labs doesn't have HTTP API access...so need some sort of execution…

Made some progress since above post. Specifically, worked out how to deploy rust code to cloudflare workers via WASM. Not a lot of documentation out there on that so not entirely clear on how much of the execution environment restrictions that lifts…

(Quote) Kinda...I don't currently have a card loaded (either expired or removed don't recall)...and still have access to the VMs. But not free tier functions.

I'd got for cat6 if they have it on hand...likely to be similar price as 5e 7 & 8 tends to be a lot stiffer than 5/6 so is a pain to pull in
