(Quote) It’s not in a DC but it is located in a secure unit. Definitely not in Calins basement 😂
-
(Quote) I can hit your instance over ssh, are you using the right port?
-
(Quote) MTU 1500 although the latency is less than ideal and there is likely contention on the S2S link. It is purely for fun, don't expect the networking to be great.

(Quote) As in the package?

New Instances Location Added This one is for a bit of fun but gives everyone a bonus location. The server is located in an undisclosed location although all traffic is routed out of Amsterdam via a site to site link. These instances are provisioned…

Migration Announcement All VMs and Instances on the following node: fl-1.nat.natvps.uk will be migrated to a new node on February 18th 2023. How do I know if I am on this node? Your private IPv4 Address will be on the following subnet: 10.200.1.x …

(Quote) We explained the reasons for this above, if you have over 4 months remaining on your billing cycle you are entitled to a partial refund. Please open a ticket as well as a cancellation request if you require the partial refund.
-
And its done! The load across the 2 nodes is slightly higher than we'd like due to all of the migrated VMs booting. This is slowly coming down and we are monitoring closely.
-
(Quote) We still have some self migrations in the backlog, we'll leave them open for now and double the resources as promised. We just ran out of time prior to the migration.
-
Most VMs are now back online, there are around 50 remaining on the data copy. All users can now see their new VMs in the Micronode panel.
-
(Quote) Oh the tickets have begun.... You're bang on with the content :o
-
(Quote) Migration is underway now, we expect this to be complete within the next few hours.
-
(Quote) They won’t be available as instances, we will however run LXC or OVZ inside a VM to offer instances at the new location.
-
(Quote) Honestly I don’t want to take a prize away from someone! It’s good kit and I’m sure you’ll find a use for it. If something else of interest comes up I’ll see if I can claim it 🙂
-
(Quote) Damn, I thought they would be! I’ll watch the thread for anything else interesting showing up. We’re all for recycling hardware to save on e-waste - this is a great idea!
-
(Quote) The lowest amount of RAM that we would be offering is 1GB on our KVM deals.
-
If its not been claimed yet I'd be interested in the Asrock x399 Taichi / Threadripper 1900X QTY Happy to make a charitable donation for a charity of your choice in return for the board, we'd use it to offer some nice NAT KVMs.

(Quote) When will the panel be back online?
-
(Quote) This should work without issue. You will need to create a loadbalancer for each virtual host.
-
(Quote) It can take 10-15 minutes to take effect, cloudflare proxy should work although you may find that the SSL cert doesn’t automatically renew on the proxy. We recommend using cloudflare direct to the ipv6 address rather than via a loadbalancer.
-
(Quote) Make sure your application is listening on port 80 on your ipv6 address. I just checked this and I get a connection refused. The load balancer setup looks correct
-
(Quote) Yes, it is planned but we don’t currently have an ETA.
-
(Quote) All locations now have the use of the loadbalancer service which has now replaced the old http proxy.
-
(Quote) If you let me know what you need I’ll give you an idea on the cost
-
(Quote) Possible but it comes with a bigger price!
-
We have some dedis coming at this spec and price range but sadly they will be in the UK. I3-6100 16GB DDR4 512GB NVME 1x IPV4 Unlimited Bandwidth (100mbps down / 1GBps Up) Shared port so best efforts /48 ipv6
