fail2ban can do most of what you’ll want. If you need to ban large amounts of IPs, may I suggest... ipset for banning with iptables, then iprange to consolidate ranges

That is unreasonable IMO. I prefer to use easydns, they’re cheap and reliable.

I’m currently using B2 for server backups (restic + B2), and Wasabi migrate backups older than 2mo to Wasabi bucket.

DirectAdmin all the way. With the new features rolling in, simple UI and reasonable pricing it’s hard to beat.
