@gogogo That's the same tiny VPS that I have. What's with Ubuntu? Don't even think about it! At best, you're looking at debian 8, with that limited RAM - perhaps if lucky, a later version. I gave Alamalinux 8 a shot just to check for template issues…

(Quote) Thought as much.

(Quote) Out of curiosity only, what does it say when you press Troubleshoot?

(Quote) . (Quote) Understandable, from both sides, though I concur that DALZ007 has been inoperable for weeks now. (Quote) Won't even respond to a Rescue boot up. :-/

(Quote) Likely this. (Quote) As said, not an issue for me, as I just switched back to my original nameserver, which was idling. Just took a look at the Virmach notice - ta. Looks as though my other ATL is at risk too. It's ns4, out of 6 though. ;) …

@VirMach Just in case you weren't aware an Atlanta node appears to have gone down today. I don't have the node name as Solus is borked there but IP is in subnet 23.147.227.0 No problem for me as this is marked for cancellation and was only used whe…

By Jove, @Virmach, looks like you've cracked it! :+1: A (mostly idling) New York node: (Image) Let's hope this speeds along the ISO replications, in Solus. Here comes rDNS and multi-IP. :p

Given the unsolicited port scans that I get from them, they should be banned from the internet, at source. Waste of resources.

^ He's loosin' it! Bless 'im. :-D

@vyas I have SWEFEN (made up) - Shoulder, Wrist, Elbow, Finger, Eyes, Neck. Mind has always been "no' right". ;)

(Quote) Be careful, man, you'll end up like me! :o Look out for the RSI issues. ;)

@Virmach; a minor aside.. My titchy 256MB RAM Dallas VM is being a 'mare to reinstall. Primarily down to ISO/template availability, though I suspect 'modern' distros are just too bloated for it - previously ran Debian 8. DALZ007 has just one (TinyC…

(Quote) It so happens that my nameserver is on that node. I got impatient after a few days, so reinstalled a due to be cancelled VM on ATLZ005. Sod's Law: just as I fully commissioned it, ATLZ007 came back online. Och well, I had nothing better to d…

(Quote) Resellers have those anyway. ;)

@Virmach That's both my ATLZ (a nameserver, 149.57.205.xxx) and DLSZ VPS (149.57.208.xxx) inaccessible in SolusVM. [Edit] Both are completely down. Open a Priority ticket for ATL, so that you can trace the node?
-
Ah widnae ken! :o
-
ATLZ still not opening though - too late for me now. Will check again in the morning. Hope that this isn't the 3rd IP change - though looks as if the node has issues; sorry can't recall which one. :'(
-
This ain't good: been down & up, then down again.. From Client Area, when trying to see why ATLZ is down. (Quote)

Hmm. ;) [Could compensate for my lazy typing and/or mid-sentence restructure.]
-
..Still get boot failure from CD on DALZ007, when trying a Ryzen Debian 10 (and likely others).
-
(Quote) Heart wouldn't like that, so more likely very frustrated. ;) [Finally managed to walk 2 miles today - yipee!] Bounced server cron/system emails are a nuisance due to lack of rDNS. The lack of multi-IP would seal the fate of that one particul…

Re: Template Syncs, I'll give my 256MB fubar'ed Dallas another attempt at a reinstall. (Not that this VPS is important to me, now.)
-
In amongst all this chaos, no further updates on rDNS nor multi-IP, @Virmach ? Just askin'. ;)
-
Fantastic! (Quote) My multi-IP NY is down, likely moved and I wanted to find out what the score was. :'( [EDIT1:] One VPN later (ironically in NYC) and yep my triple IP VPS is fubar. Pointless changing main IP without the others being available. …
