Ah, so if NVMe is affected too, it's probably just network-related then.

Yeah, my Chicago storage went down it seems. Around 5 AM CEST according to uptime monitors. Must be an issue with a separate node, as it was previously unaffected by the initial issue in Chicago.

Seems to be a typo on the order/configuration pages for Amsterdam as it mentions 50 TB instead of unmetered.

(Quote) I've only been using Win11 on my work laptop, so I haven't really explored it much, but I'll say... probably not. The only thing I really wanted to mess around with was Windows Subsystem for Android, but I honestly haven't even looked at tha…

(Quote) I'm not a big fan of Windows either, but Windows 11 does left you set your taskbar to align left (like previous Windows versions). Default is still in the middle though.

(Quote) I personally think Hyper-V works quite well. Granted my usage is simple (though it doesn't sound like your usage is all that complicated either). At the moment I run a Kubuntu 20.04 VM just fine without any issues (and I use it daily). Tho…

I tried to get VirtualBox working after I set up WSL2, but I just... couldn't. I was however able to boot VMs on VirtualBox with just one vCPU, so that I could easily copy the files I needed (instead of having to convert the disk image). In the end…

(Quote) That's what I figured. Thanks for the clarification.

(Quote) I assume the 2 GB RAM is a typo and should be 1 GB, as all the other specs (incl. the price) match the 1 GB RAM plan. Though there is a promo for the 2 GB plan on OGF - 17% off ($9.96/m) with the code: DublinLaunch Since it technically brea…

I also wanna chime in and say that I'm really pleased with my ExtraVM services. Those VDSes are top-notch. (Quote) Do you allow transfers @MikeA? I have a VDS in France that I no longer need (since I got one in Canada to replace it). It expires Apr…

(Quote) Is that a marketing email though? It looks billing-related. The last marketing email I got from Bunny.net was in October and at the bottom of this email they definitely have an actual unsubscribe link: (Image) I'm not a lawyer, nor am I r…

(Quote) Good idea. Since I want something like this too, I whipped up a quick userscript: (Spoiler) Works with Violentmonkey at least. I imagine it's compatible with the other userscript managers.

It's a bummer, since I had such a solid 4 TB offer from OGF - shoutout to @Nekki: (Image) Wishing you luck in any future endeavors @Mr_Tom (Quote) Even if Tom wanted to do that, I imagine it would take too much time anyways, since it's relativel…

(Quote) I think because your list under "Our current locations" only had Mumbai listed as "Metered", people assumed Singapore was unmetered as well. I assume you noticed that as well now and fixed it though :) At least once you …

(Quote) The deadline was set to December 31st, 2019, so even with your Feb 2020 account you wouldn't have had the tag.

(Quote) +1 for Mullvad. Been using them for a few months for my Linux ISO sharing and it's top-notch.

4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 200 GB SSD originally from HostSolutions - Now with TerraHost that honored the price of 6.5 euros per month. (Spoiler)

(Quote) It might end up being worse than NL, honestly. At least from my node in South Africa, it seems to go through London regardless, before looping back to Nigeria - See: https://dnstools.ws/traceroute/195.16.73.10/?workers=za I'm not sure if th…

(Quote) I don't think .org was ever intended to be just for non-profits, just... "organizations" in general. It just ended up being commonly used by non-profits. Apparently though, you can make it so your donors cover the processing fee. …

(Quote) Oh yeah, I agree. I don't really see the point of this at the moment, besides "look what we can do!" (Quote) It's a fair point (and I was aware of it previously), but it has two issues I can think of: It's not cross-platform and s…

(Quote) I imagine that at some point you're not re-downloading the same 300 MB each time you load the page (right now it seems you do) and maybe only when an update is available. Suppose it might also be targeted towards being portable. It allows y…

Would Krita be an option? They seem to have a beta/early access version on the Google Play Store.

Suggestion: Make the 2FA field a single input field, instead of 6 individual ones. It would be handy for the future in case you end up supporting something other than just 6-digit TOTP codes (e.g Yubikeys), but even right now it's a bit of a pain i…

(Quote) $115 per year, so well priced for the specs, network & location imo. Those that paid for 2 years got 20 GB RAM, but it wasn't something I needed (+ it would've reduced my budget for any other BF offers).

Hosthatch's BF2021 offer - Compute #4: 4 vCPU, 16 GB RAM, 100 GB NVMe & 20 TB bandwidth in Oslo 🇳🇴 (which finally got deployed...) (Spoiler)
