They're "Exclusive Deals" - exclusively for LES members. If it's public, then it's no longer "exclusive" and anyone can just visit and view the deal without being registered and logged on.

I've had some .se domains and still have a couple of .nu domains and I've never received such emails/messages. Could just be a random check, as mentioned by @Mumbly.
