(Quote) Sad that people would accuse you of things when you have done so much for the community.

I tried NPTv6 on *SENSE and Linux, no luck so far. Documentation on NPT is sparse. Your best bet is asking your ISP for a /60 or more. Try that in your *SENSE first. I remembered there is an option to request a prefix other than a /64.

This is criminal. Someone needs to report this to the police.

my computer desktop is free of icons. my physical desktop... it's embarrassing.

The appropriate price for this is $7. Obviously (Spoiler)

Ironically, in the largest "communist" country today, IWD is a day where women takes advantage of men.

(Quote) LoL. It is not from "Hair selection", I think you meant Select Quotes of Mao Zedong and the online translator goofed up, which is hilarious! This comes from《权书•心术》(Book of Might, chapter "the Art of Strategy") by …

They probably work weekends? No way parcel post can travel that distance in just a single business day. Speaking as an ex eBay seller.

@itsdeadjim @Not_Oles shameless plug here. Use Nix or NixOS, library compatibilities be damned! XD
-
Worth a shot.

We got progress! same error message here. ~ terrorgen@fmt❯ lxc-start nixos -Flxc-start: nixos: ../src/lxc/utils.c: safe_mount: 1220 Resource busy - Failed to mount "sys" onto "/usr/lib/lxc/rootfs/dev/.lxc/sys"<<< NixOS …

Also they were in a raid10 config. You can only claim 2, selected randomly.

Let's go ahead and reboot and see if it works! If it doesn't after the reboot, we'll try something else :)

seems like there is another solution: https://discuss.linuxcontainers.org/t/failed-to-mount-cgroup-at-sys-fs-cgroup-systemd-operation-not-permitted/13646

(Quote) it may boot successfully but because systemd is heavily relied upon by NixOS, it won't be any useful. (Quote) I am sorry if I am not being helpful.

Tried using the VM through the panel. Here is my observation: 1. noVNC flashes every second on my computer, very annoying 2. xterm.js response is very slow, like, I typed something into it, and it only shows what I have typed after a noticeable dela…

So it just clicked that most of my problems (besides cgroup delegation) is permissions: ❯ lxc-start nixos -Flxc-start: nixos: ../src/lxc/utils.c: safe_mount: 1220 Resource busy - Failed to mount "sys" onto "/usr/lib/lxc/rootfs/dev/.l…

(Quote) Thank you that a Dutch person agrees!

(Quote) But /etc/conf.d/lxc does exist, so it may not have to do with LXD. (Quote) That won't work. NixOS is heavily dependant on systemd to get things working. Also, LXC "boots" the container by starting /sbin/init inside the container. …

looks like the beta is working as people are reporting issues :) brilliant idea @Advin

Looks like I am still not able to start my container. (Quote) @Not_Oles you'll have to do this ☺️

(Quote) Invalid and partial. They ask providers to come to them to be evaluated. EDIT: also very Dutch centric.

Oh just found this from https://wiki.alpinelinux.org/wiki/LXD: If you plan to run systemd based Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.), add this to /etc/conf.d/lxc: systemd_container=yes and enable both lxc and lxd to start at boot: rc-updat…

(Quote) I got similar errors on my NixOS container about autofs and cgroup and PID1 refusing to proceed further. Looks like a systemd issue now.
-
Btw, FMT not pingable from my end.
-
Looks like bash is PID1 in your container?
-
(Quote) According to https://wiki.alpinelinux.org/wiki/LXC, cgroup can be enabled with rc-update add cgroups Worth a try, @Not_Oles?
-
And it's still not working for me to get NixOS run on LXC. I tried downloading a standard debian and Ubuntu templates but was unsuccessful as well. Must be the configuration.

I did, and it is stored at ~terrorgen/log if you want to take a peek. To save everyone's time, I think it is because of this: lxc-start nixos 20230220204723.613 ERROR start - ../src/lxc/start.c:lxc_spawn:1795 - Failed to setup cgroup limits for…

(Quote) Thanks! However, I can't start my LXC container. Maybe it has something to do with lxcbr0?
