Bitninja Abuse reports

mikhomikho AdministratorHosting ProviderOG

Hello all!

Got an abuse report from Bitninja and before I answer it, I remember a topic over at LET where the intention/putpose of this company Bitninja were discussed.

I only remeber that it was talked about, not exactly what was said.

Anyone remember?

tl;dr bit ninja is a closed ecosystem that provides no actual evidence of abuse and considers many things as abuse that simply are not just to boost stats, every DC I use has now essentially blacklisted bitninja abuse reports because they create a lot of work without providing real proof of anything and are essentially a pay to win blacklist.

    They should be ignored.

It was delivered to the owner of the IP I’m using and they forwarded it to me.

  • They are clowns. I was doing some testing between a shared host and VPS I was using, the shared host was using bitninja. Apparently using custom user agents is "attacking a server"- their definition of what is abuse is ridiculous.
