    I am pleasantly surprised by how well these NAT VPSs perform in first tests! Still have to find a good use case for them, but for the price I couldn't let these idlers escape.

    I feel the same way :)

  • Is there a script to debloat the base template?
    I know there is one to convert it to alpine but I don't want to switch from ubuntu.

    My usual, for Debian 10:

    echo 'APT::Install-Recommends "no";
    APT::Install-Suggests "no";' >/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/80recommends
    echo deb http://deb.debian.org/debian buster-backports main >/etc/apt/sources.list.d/buster-backports.list
    apt-mark auto $(apt-mark showmanual)
    apt update
    apt install bind9-host curl git htop initramfs-tools iptables iputils-ping jq locales net-tools openssh-server patch resolvconf screen software-properties-common sudo systemd-sysv tcpdump telnet traceroute vim wget zip
    apt autoremove --purge
    apt full-upgrade

    You'll need some changes for Ubuntu.

    Can Adguard home run on this NAT VPS with default ports?

    Unfortunately no.

    Technically he asked whether Adguard would run with the default ports ... which it likely will quite happily ( it just won't work on ipv4 ).

    Hey, did you get it solved?
    I think you will need to restart the vps after enabling fuse

    @Abdullah
    i tried refresh it by reinstall, reenabled the options in panel, reboot, but got another error
    mount helper error: fusermount: fuse device not found, try 'modprobe fuse' first
    Fatal error: failed to mount FUSE fs: fusermount: exit status 1
    root@ubuntu:~# modprobe fuse
    modprobe: FATAL: Module fuse not found in directory /lib/modules/3.10.0-1127.18.2.vz7.163.46

    please create a ticket, so can look into your issue.

    Having the same issue. Fuse is installed but the module is missing. Using Ubuntu 20.04 with the provided template.

  • Hi Abdullah,

    I have bought your VPS just while ago, but I have small issue. I have installed OpenVPN, it installed successfully, but the problem is openvpn app is connecting to it but internet not working afterwwards. Any solution please ??

    No, can't run a public adguard instance bcz. DNS port 53 is blocked. But a wayaround you can configure DNS-over-https, that should work. :)

    Can also use a wireguard+adguard setup

    Is it possible to do domain forwarding on port 853(DoT)?

    Hi,

    Can you access internet from inside the VPS (like try ping 1.1.1.1 from terminal)?

    Just reinstall the OS & use this openvpn install script https://github.com/Nyr/openvpn-install enter one of your assigned ports when asked.
    This script should work, as it always does. :)

    Let me know. :)

    Probably port not open or using the wrong port?

    Hi, Abdullah

    I am installing from the same script that you mentioned above, when it is asking for IP address I am putting my IPV4 address, then port no: 18020 (my internal IP is eding with 180). for DNS I am using Google, UDP.. That how I am installing.

    Pining is working fine even after installing OpenVPN on VPS

  • Has anyone been able to get wireguard working on their VPS?
    I've been trying but it doesn't seem to work and I think it is because there is no UDP port forwarding support on them, since I only see the TCP option when using the Domain Forwarding setting.
    @Abdullah
    Am I doing something wrong or is this expected behavior?

    I'm guessing that is India location, (using a different approach there - Domain Forwarding)
    UDP ports need to be forwarded manually, by creating a ticket.

    I have replied your ticket. On these NAT VPS, ports are assigned according to the internal IP. I hope that works :)
