Menu in Firefox on Desktop looks crammed:
dark mode?
@LeonDynamic said: @mikho when changing to dark theme it condenses the navigation menu. I tested the dark theme plugin on another WP install and it does the same thing. Might be worth letting the devs know.
Yeah, I've tried to find the exact part where it goes wrong. Had to step away from the Blog today as I have to get the taxes done before the 20th.
I Will let them know when I get back working on the blog again.

Also, switch the dark theme button to left hand side as it interferes with back to top button
@mikho Yep, dark mode, same issue @LeonDynamic mentions.
As for long term improvement, maybe the dark mode colors could be adjusted to more closely resemble the forum's color palette, which I find much easier to read.
Good luck with the taxes. Just finished mine.
1.
Back to top button is partially under the dark-mode button.
2.
Cover images don't look very good.
3.
After doing a search, if I don't click on any of the results, there's no clear "back to forum start / Home" button/link.
Same goes for opening any post to read it.
4.
I miss some sort of category list, to see what kind of info is there.
People today generally don't use a sitemap/T.O.C, but at least some kind of navigation pointing to the content, in addition to the date-sorted published posts list might be a good idea (IMO).
On the bright side:
it runs smoothly. Colour scheme and general layout make the texts easy to read.

Optimized version of the logo for the blog and forum. Less than the original by 80%.

Thanks for the CSS, @Falzo! Worked like a charm and looks great.
I think/hope I also fixed the menu links from getting smushed together on the dark mode.
