EUR 45/year
Performance has been smashing since half a year now.
load is either very well managed or I'm on a friendly node.

I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.

Ryzen dedi bench alllowed?
of course! would be even better edited topic to include dedicated
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
Too bad it is running Windows and WSL doesn't want to run yabs
I was very lucky to get a Ryzen VPS from @DataIdeas during Black Friday. Their site was basically dead when it got posted. Will post a yabs later.
I believe the specs were:
Ryzen 9 3900X (1 vCore)
1GB Memory
10GB SSD Storage
1 IPv4 & 1 IPv6
Unmetered BW
$0.50/month (billed monthly)
Also got a nice Ryzen VPS from Nexril.
Ryzen 9 3950X (1 vCore)
1GB Memory
15GB SSD Storage
1 IPv4 & /64 IPv6
1TB Transfer
$1/month (billed yearly)
Both pretty solid, I used to run a website on the first one, but now it's just idling because I ended up having to move the website over to another VPS since it got popular. Both have been pretty solid so far, although DataIdeas has had some downtime lately.
FroCDN Files - Anonymously upload up to 15GB per file for free with unlimited bandwidth. FroCDN Paste - Paste text to share with others, fork of Hastebin. Also completely free to use.
I was lucky to got the following one from NaranjaTech
4 vCPU EPYC 7452
8GB DDR4
120GB NVMe
20TB @ 1gbps
AMS
EUR 80/year
Performance is solid becaue of no steal and good IO, and I can use up to 50% CPU on average:
wuuuuuut.....

Hi @cybertech
Hetzner AX101 Ryzen 9 5950X bare metal
MetalVPS
There was a thread about Slackware on HN a couple of days ago. The original HN poster mentioned in a comment that in the Slackware changelog for April 12 and February 15, Patrick Volkerding had referred to a beta for Slackware 15. So I had to go grab Slackware current and install it inside a KVM. I will set up IPv6 too, of course.
Slackware seems to have a minimal KVM virtualization penalty on Geekbench 5: Single Core score 1687 vs. 1661 on bare metal. I've seen the bare metal higher, 1673, 1719, and 1725.
MetalVPS
Okay, here is the Slackware KVM with IPv6 now enabled:
MetalVPS
Your IO are exceptionally good
@Mason Do you mind making yabs for Windows ? I hope you would love to do that
Last I tried, it worked perfectly fine using WIndows Subsystem Linux, beyond that I probably won't pursue Windows compatibility.
Head Janitor @ LES • About • Rules • Support • Donate
Well probably it just doesnt work for me lol
here's mine on naranjatech too. top stuff.
EPYC 1 vCore
2GB Ram
30GB NVMe Disk
5TB BW
20 €/year (+vat if applicable)
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
@valkyrie WSL 1 or 2?
OnePoundEmail (aff link)
WSL 2 and it should really run as I ran one on my test rig at home and it ran fine, maybe a buggy installation I guess
