[Transfer] Servarica Polar Bear - 2TB storage - GONE
UPDATE this is gone.
original post:
Some time since BF and holiday season passed, so it's time for some early spring-clean ... I overbought on storage (who's laughing there?) and therefore am in the middle of some restructuring and consolidation to bigger boxes. I'll offer a few services for transfer around here in the next days, might be worth to check it all out ;-)
We start off with a nice 2TB storage of servarica which I renewed in november last year already but now want to let go of. It's the famous polar bear offer and has been very decent, however I do not have a need for storage across the ocean anymore, so here is a chance to get it even cheaper than the regular costs...
Taken from the offer page:
Polar Bear Storage Offer
2 CPU cores
2 GB RAM
2TB disk
Unlimited transfer on 100mbps or 4TB limit on 1gbps
1x IPv4, IPv6 available by request
Renews at $48 yearly , paid for till November 27th, 2022

so essentially more than ten months left, asking only $30 to make it even cheaper compared to the regular offer ;-)
I haven't opened a support ticket yet, but I think a transfer won't be an issue as long as the receiver has an account in good standing.
any takers?
Comments
Do you think they can merge two accounts? If yes, then I can take it
Team push-ups!
Just contacted support they said no
What storage are you keeping vs servarica @Falzo
Team push-ups!
I can take it, but I will let Sensei before me, as he was first
what do you mean by 'merging accounts'? stacking the service on top? I don't think they do that, so you would simply have it as a second service in your account.
I got a bigger storage server over at Hetzner (~16TB) where I am moving stuff to and another smaller one which will appear here soon for grabs. also a SYS 4x2TB, hosthatch storage in stockholm and so on. right now my backup-sets more or less outgrew the 2TB mark and after all I am also focusing on european region...
TL;DR; despite the servarica thing being a nice box which served me well for over a year now. I simply have more and closer by ...
cool, let's see if @Sensei comes back to the topic, otherwise I'll send you a PM soon ;-)
I am actually looking for a slightly larger backup box. @VPN you can go ahead and take it!
Team push-ups!
reserved for @VPN ;-)
transfer done, thanks @VPN for the easy business and @servarica_hani for your support guys being helpful and quick as usual!

Gone in (just over) Seven Hours !!
No drama, no rants.

Falzo left some home mades so --- u know.
sorry to disappoint
I tried to help fast
I was not aware drama was required
enjoy it.
don't forget to share the stash.
openssl enc -aes-256-ctr -pass pass:"$(dd if=/dev/urandom bs=128 count=1 </dev/null | base64)" -nosalt </dev/zero | pv --progress --eta --rate --bytes | dd of=/dev/vdb
The plan is still orderable on Servarica's web site. I don't know if that means it is really in stock. I have been considering it for a while, depending.
i keep resisting getting one myself , since last year
I bench YABS 24/7/365 unless it's a leap year.
cheapest storage vps on the market that's more regularly available. $2/TB for a full blown KVM vps with really decent performance. support is fast and helpful, in over a year there was only one larger (announced) downtime, when they moved DCs... there is not much that can go wrong, you only missed to get it even cheaper from me :-P
it's a fair offer, if you need it, get it.
