HostHatch Los Angeles 2 core E5, 8GB RAM, 40GB NVMe, 5TB for transfer

FrankZFrankZ Moderator

If any one would like a HostHatch 2 core E5-2690 v2, 8GB RAM, 40GB NVMe, 5TB transfer VM in Los Angeles expiring November 29th, 2022 please let me know. I am just charging the $10 fee required by HostHatch for transfer via PayPal friends and family. (you pay the fee) The renewal fee of $30/yr will need to be paid to HostHatch on November 14th or 15th, 2022.

I currently have AlmaLinux9 installed on it and geekbench 5 will not run, so below is the YABS from October 16, 2022 when I was still running OpenVZ7.

Wow this is great, was it some kind of special? I'm interested but I don't use paypal. I was going to suggest cash or MO by snail mail but hmm, you are in Europe? Maybe Hosthatch could let me add funds via CC to your Hosthatch account? This price actually seems too good to be true unless it was some kind of semi-lottery (the expiration date suggests it was a black friday deal). Have you had any issues with it?

  • FrankZFrankZ Moderator

Yes it was a Black Friday 2020 deal. There have been no issues, and for the last year or so it was one of the better ones I had with them. It just does not work for my use case going forward. Snail mail will not work for me as I am in Mexico, which has really bad mail service where I am at. If you've had a HostHatch account for a while you could check with them if you could pay the transfer fee instead of me. Since there would be no payment to me required in that case.

  • Thanks, I opened a ticket with Hosthatch about this. I can PM you the ticket number for confirmation wth them.

    Please do so.

  • Ok, sent a little while ago.

Yes, this is possible. I did it that way some time ago when VPS was transferred to me.

    Hi ...,

Kindly have the user .... submit a ticket referencing this transfer request and ticket number so we can create an invoice for the transfer. Normally, it should be invoiced to the losing account. Thus, we need for him to submit an acknowledgment of the transfer as well as the transfer invoice.

    Best Regards,
    .....
