VPN Unlimited/Keepsolid Lifetime being gradually phased out from Stacksocial?
It was brought to my attention that it seems like Keepsolid has discontinued (for now) offering Keepsolid/VPN Unlimited lifetime subscription as a standalone item on Stacksocial.
This appears to indeed be true when checking https://stacksocial.com/brands/keepsolid (see screenshot below).
Now, there could be various reasons for that. For one, VPN Unlimited/Keepsolid lifetime is still being offered, but only in a bundle (e.g. with Sticky PW manager). This could mean they are slowly looking to phase out their lifetime deal from Keepsolid. In that case people looking to get it should do so before it's gone like Windscribe lifetime. Of course, it could also just be a marketing thing, offering VPN Unlimited/Keepsolid lifetime along with Sticky PW Manager and at one point the standalone item will return.
Just thought this would be a nice FYI
Only coupon according to Honey extension currently is "FJOJETR" bringing it to 26$ish.
Still a great price for a decent VPN (although sticky pw is probably just crap).

@Ympker - going by your suggestions over years I have got ivacy, keepsolid and koofr from stacksocial. This year isn't like before on stacksocial, so is there anything else worth buying today?
Nothing that I found interesting. No global discount codes on Stacksocial this year either. Kinda sucks.

Every year I save 40% but this year I will save 100% by not buying anything.
@Ympker what's your opinion about ivacy?
Team push-ups!
Ivacy is good for unblocking (unblocks like 6 Flix countries and many other channels) and at some point was (or still is) likely a PureVPN reseller. Speeds have improved quite a lot since I bought it years ago and Wireguard is now supported.

I was reading an article where after years of denying of their connection, PureVPN representative admitted that PureVPN have a stake in "Ivacy". There's more than just reselling.
Prior to ivacy lifetime stacksocial deal with free renewal every 5 years, PureVPN had the same deal, but after 5 years they (or stacksocial?) didn't honour renewal requests. There are several threads about this at reddit.
Seems like Keepsolid now also removed the Stickypw combo deal for 29,99$. The only way to still get Keepsolid VPN Lifetime through Stacksocial now is through the 89,99$ deal that's bundled with Degoo. Appears like, in the light of energy crisis etc, they may have decided to actually phase out lifetime offers (or only keep them on their original website, but way more expensive):

People are getting familiar with vpn and more must be subscribing their usual expensive monthly plans hence they dont need to have the "deals" anymore. Possibly more will disappear over near term.
They are also still selling lifetime, but on their website where it says discounted price is 99$ and regular lifetime is 199$. I'm sure they also get to keep way more money that way than selling through Stacksocial.

Nordvpn.
69 percent off plus 4 months free on 2 yr plan

NordVPN often has these kinda 2 year sales. It also had them back when I switched to lifetime vpn in 2016. While not necessarily bad, it didn't add any value to my usage and required a subscription, hence I preferred lifetime.

Any thoughts on Adguard VPN? I want something easy for the family that also does adblocking without any messing around.
Don't see why it wouldn't be a good pick.

wasn't there a discount code or something for adguard? Or was that BFCM only?

I think someone posted an AdGuard discount code in the BF thread from Stacksocial. Don't remember the code, though.

The standard 15% code seems to work, I’ll look for another, cheers.
Found coupons for Adguard but not Adguard VPN.
Fastestvpn seems is the best deal. 20 USD lifetime. https://fastestvpn.com/lifetime
Certainly a good alternative and with Keepsolid seemingly discontinuing lifetime deals on Stacksocial (and maybe on their website as well?) FastestVPN is a decent pick, albeit I would probably prefer Ivacy over Fastest.

Any comments on the current cheapest "lifetime" VPN other than FastestVPN? (I already have FastestVPN)
Looks like ivacy is $40.
Code:
bfcm20
(-10%)No more "lifetime"
edit.
ah, it's still there - two different options for the same price

Yeah, it's been like that forever. But with the "lifetime" you have to msg support after 5 years and ask them to renew. I will have to do that some time around march (?) next year. Let's see if they just prolong it for a year or another 5, or say "oops".

Looks like RealVPN and SlickVPN still $20 lifetime. Any good reasons not to use RealVPN?
I read some reviews from a couple of years back that said SlickVPN was hot garbage - slow speeds, very few locations and issues with the mobile apps including a lack of features like split tunnelling. It may well have improved since then but I haven't found anything more recent.
Back then, I only heard bad things about slick, too.
Realvpn is pretty new and I remember someone saying they only have IKEV2?!

Oh, from their help pages it looks like you are correct that RealVPN only have IKEv2. Hmm.
I didn't find a lot of recent reviews of either of them. I'll be using it on a VPS so not too worried about mobile apps.
Might be interesting for some.
