Loads fast, no unneeded animations, simple to navigate and super easy to skim through in a few seconds. A+ work!

The best way to explain load average I've found is it's like a highway, and each car is a running process. The number of threads you have is the number of lanes you have on the highway, and the load average is the number of cars passing a given poin…

I think you are quite literally the first LES service provider to reduce their prices instead of raise them in quite some time! Rock on :)

Speaking from experience of working in the NGFW (Next-Gen Firewall) industry for around 3 years, my semi-professional opinion: Geolocation based on an IP database is basically useless in terms of increasing security. Attack vectors can come from any…

(Quote) Been busy... I might make a post about my new side-hustle soon. Semi-lowend related ;)

Very old CPU by today's standards. I think I would probably not pay more than $30/mo.

My seedbox is a very old Atom C2350 Dual Core with 4GB of RAM and it works fairly well. The HDD on it is the limiting factor, but if I had an SSD I could probably max out the 1Gbps link it has. Only time it really shows its weakness on the CPU side …

(Quote) Yup, that will work nicely.

(Quote) Why would you post about getting a CPU change and NOT post the Geekbench scores, or at least some sort of CPU benchmark? What is the point if we're not directly comparing performance between the two host CPUs from within the VM?

A big thank you to GTHost, Crunchbits, Scaleblade, and PieHasBeenEaten for the servers you are providing for this project. :) Also thank you to Cloudie, Virtfusion, TheOnlyDK, FatGrizzly, sh97, yoursunny, DP, and Not_Oles for the assistance you have…

Mine was approved. Sad to see it's only for 1 year, but I guess they're trying to compete with AWS. Oracle still has the leg up on them with their free offering.

My work laptop... I don't change the background on any of my other PCs because I'm lazy. Cycles through about six different poster scans all from the same marketing company. (Image)

I run a DokuWiki on some cheap shared hosting. Works great.

Yup can confirm what was left at my SmallWeb account on the LAX server is now gone. Also DNS for the panel no longer exists either (used to be lax.dapanel.net). Annoyingly it just autorenewed using my account credit I had left, too only a few days …

+1 for Debian with XFCE. If you need something even lighter (less than 1GB RAM) Puppy Linux is the way to go.

Dynamic Sites Done Right? I like that it's catchy.

Another 24 hours, another 2x4GB DDR4 Modules, please! :)
-
Since it's been 24+ hours, I'd like to claim some more RAM - Could I get a pair of the 4GB Crucial DDR4? Going to put it in the server. I'll keep claiming those until they're all gone unless other people really want low density DIMMs ;)
