(Quote) My concern with that statement is that my ticket is about no public network and I don't ever remember marking my recent ticket as being about packet loss. I've already done the troubleshooting, from reinstalling the system, setting IP confi…

(Quote) (Image) You sent out a bulk ticket response to reply back if the ticket remains valid, but it isn't actually possible to reply. I can appreciate that you have a lot to work through and have been working hard on these issues for months, bu…

My VMs keep being rebooted... Severe packet loss happens most days. Will there be compensation account credits? Or should I just be thankful if my BF deals don't end up deadpooling?

Will an option to Ryzen migrate to Seattle be offered in the future?

(Quote) I certainly don't resent him for it, especially years down the road, but at the end of the day, I'm glad alternatives to the CC-dominant LET popped up.

This post feels like vindication. Several years ago, I called out this same questionable behaviour and I was met with a former admin, mpkossen, telling me off.

Do you support BGP sessions?

One major challenge with ipinfo.co is not being able to resolve IPs from website/A records. Any recommendations for one-step IP resolver + info sites?

(Quote) You can also get 100GB for 2 years if you buy a Chromebook, usually. If you were already planning on buying one.

(Quote) I procrastinated way too hard on these deals.

(Quote) Any RAID?

(Quote) TOS: https://www.vpnunlimitedapp.com/addendum FYI if anyone was planning on using VPN Unlimited for a VPN for their server to run youtube-dl, rclone transfers, seedbox, etc.

Thanks for the review. I'm surprised with how much Minecraft hosting costs have gone down over the years. Any idea how long they've been around?
-
(Quote) If you're trying to access public buckets, you can pull outbound for free via Cloudflare's Bandwidth Alliance using rclone.

(Quote) Probably the same but I didn't see it on your list.

(Quote) They missed CBC Gem. A lot of material not covered by BBC iPlayer.

(Quote) I don't really 'get' Ubuntu as a server OS though, it's like 2x the footprint of a base Debian install. I guess the 5 yr LTS is nice, but Debian seems to be going in that direction anyways with their LTS team (my Jessie boxes are still getti…

Pretty sure people only really use HostSolutions.ro to run Seedboxes, nginx file directory mirrors and relays. I have yet to hear of a novel use for a HostSolutions VM outside of those usecases.

Any idea what the GT710 can be used for in addition to whatever I'll be running? Obviously it's useless for Crypto mining but I'm curious if it'd make a significant difference in Folding@Home or something without having a negative impact on system s…

When you guys ordered, did an invoice appear automatically? I still haven't been able to pay for it even though I successfully ordered.

Does it work better for javascript disabled browsers?

Is there any way we can subscribe to the category?

Any MailChannels or mail relay?

(Quote) Oh I see, so the family perk isn't actually for NexusBytes web hosting plans, it's your general webhosting service. Gotcha, thanks!
-
What plan exactly is "Webhosting starter plan" and how do we claim it?
-
Hardly 10eur/year if we have to bet on whether they'll be around in 10 years.

(Quote) EasyDNS is $15 for a straight reg. Not sure how they're competitive.

How big is the NAT backup VPS for 1G VPS?

Are LES users not allowed to apply?

(Quote) Both, no? Providers will be more hesitant to issue refunds, hurting customers. Providers eat the cost, adding to business costs, hurting providers.

(Quote) Followed up. VPN Unlimited claims to work in China. Windscribe does work in China, to an extent. I've had FastestVPN once and it did work for a few days before it stopped working.
-
(Quote) I've read a few articles advising sysadmins to refuse delivery to any .pw domain, which worries me a bit since I don't want my stuff to be caught in a filter somewhere.

Auditor General's office is notoriously underfunded. The last AG was very competent in terms of digging for info and pressing cases, but lacked the necessary French to communicate with their mostly Francophone IT side.
-
Which of these run MailChannels or any other email relay service?
-
Do any of these run reliably in China? If anyone's interested, KeepSolid seems to be available for $15/lifetime. https://forums.redflagdeals.com/stacksocial-keepsolid-lifetime-vpn-5-device-15-usd-20-cdn-2356966/

RA4WVPN didn't even enable encryption until a few years ago. For the first 4 years of their service, it was literally an unencrypted OpenVPN tunnel. Not sure if I'd trust their technical competence.
