Quick update, as there have been lots of small UI improvements :)
-
Thanks!

Thanks, I'll do!

+1 for Synology Usually, always prefer a self-build, but I got a Synology around a year ago and I'm super happy with it.
-
ugh... Clouvider ...
-
Ordered one, let's see how long it lasts :)
-
(Quote) Probably February
-
I'm working on something similar :) It's based on VueJS, a vanilla PHP backend and using simple json files for storage instead of a database. (Image)

VPS S SSD in Nuremberg if anyone is curious. Just wrote a ticket to remove the IO cap. -----getsysperf.com -- https://github.com/iandk/sysperf-----System type : KVMCPU model : Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v4 @ 2.20GHzNumber of …

Thanks, just got a storage VPS!

(Quote) You can’t compare Netlify or Vercel to a regular hosting. Integrated CI/CDN, global CDN, auto deploy etc...
-
(Quote) Yup, Single Page Apps. When there is a fresh page load for a url like example.tld/foo, where /foo is a frontend route, the GitHub Pages server returns 404 because it knows nothing of /foo. See: https://github.com/rafgraph/spa-github-pages
-
GitHub Pages doesn’t have proper SPA support, so I‘d prefer Netlify
-
Thanks for showing that after the registration and verification... (Image)

Does someone offer Raspberry PI 4 based storage servers yet? Maybe with some kind of external HDD attached.
-
(Quote) Please do not, or at least have both. 265MB is awesome!
-
(Quote) It’s paid for one month, has an IP subnet and includes the setup fee
-
Thanks, will probably go with BuyVM unless @AnthonySmith has some nice KVM deals :D
-
(Quote) A few GB SSD, 512MB RAM, 1 vCore and 1 IPv4 + IPv6 Basically as cheap as it gets
-
Any plans for a small annually 512mb kvm offer in london?
-
I recently ordered the OVZ512 special, but had to notice that the IO performance is particularly slow. Mostly between 20mb/s and 40mb/s. Is this VPS even intended for other things than a small VPN?
-
Seems interesting! Never looked into bare metal provisioning
-
Is there a way to access the clients via their hostname and the .local domain? Let's say I have both my PC and PI connected and I'd like to access the pi via it's hostname and the .local subdomain.
-
Just ordered with 1TB, let’s see
-
Somehow my Mail is blocked. Never had a service with them
-
I can recommend Keyhelp It's rock stable http://keyhelp.de/en

(Quote) Oh awesome suggestion, thanks! Unfortunately their clients fails to open under linux and macos.
-
I tried connecting via SPICE to the ubuntu VM, the performance is pretty good, but unfortunately the macOS client doesn't work. So I could only use it with windows
-
mhh, RDP doesn't even work properly when I try to connect from my Mac to my PC. Both are connected via Gbit directly to the switch.
-
Sorry, I forgot to mention, I'm running Windows Server as well.
-
It's only meant for storage purposes
-
Ugh, I'd prefer one in Europe. But thanks
-
Which ways do they offer to upload a file? I assume it's not possible to mount it directly?
-
Right, I‘ve got an IP subnet and I‘m handing those out with the DHCP server. I‘m using a routed setup, therefore that’s possible. It works without a problem until the default-lease-time is over, then the VM loses the IP until I reboot it.
-
That’s the only way i found to hand out the subnet even tho the IP of the bridge (IP of my hostnode) is different than the subnet. But that seems to work since they get the correct IP in the first place.
-
I'm using the default terminal

(Quote) It‘s mostly a personal preference. And I already have a server in DUS with ultravps
