I use my hushed lifetime number for my whois number, and use [email protected] email address for whois email. That way, I can just check those only in case I need it (domain ownership checking, etc.).

For domain, you might also want to check out https://freedns.afraid.org/ I never used it, but iirc the only downside is that you can't use Cloudflare's free 4to6 proxy with it

OK, so I found the issue. It seems like when you send both the session cookie and the authentication credentials, DA will clear the session and log you out. I was able to fix it by disabling cookie on requests.session.
