Hello @Calin, any chance you could enable TUN on the/my server? Oh and btw, order ID: #9729345869 invoice ID: #856 Regards

(Quote) FWIW, it is possible to later (at least) upgrade/expand/increase the available storage of a product. Just got my server delivered and it's possible to add 2TB/4TB of storage ($84/$168 probably per year) in the client area
-
Ah, and if its SAN based storage, can one increase it anytime later (in general and/or for this BF offer)?
-
Okay, so I couldnt resist, despite CA not being my normal go to location. The p/p ratio is too good! Order nr: #2795850382 (found it) Some things I noted, which werent clear to me in the thread. These are XEN based VMs, for those interested, or are…

I'd like to know where the relays are located (as I would prefer EU for my use cases). Additionally, would there be any possibility to increase the use of one account to 2 or 3 sending servers? I mean one could easily buy multiple packages, I'd like…

(Quote) Shouldn't the client peer be then declared on the server side (as an endpoint) as well? I don't know if this does help or not, but I have a setup with multiple peers with their endpoints declared (on each other peer) and I'd like to know wha…

Renewal is 15$ Can do yabs in like 20 minutes (would also show 1/10Gbps and or kinda HDD/SSD/NVMe speeds) Lemme check what the renewal date is (I think it's around end of Nov)
-
Does the client really need to use one of the mapped NAT ports? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that in such a setup only one open port on the server side is need, isn't it? The client could use a dynamic port, no? In this case it shouldn't …

If you are interested in a hosthatch vps in Milano, I could transfer a BF deal (transfer fee of 10$ applies according to HH support) @foxone Specs are 1 Core 2 GB RAM 20GB SSD (I think) 2 TB @ 1Gbps (or maybe even 10 Gbps?, can't check now) Subnet …

Wait what? Is it real? The glorious 5$ plan?

(Quote) Might that not be feedback/update enough for you? 2 days ago, seems okish uptodate for me. I believe that he posted additional/other information on LET too, but can't check as it's down right now... Anyway, you're are not obligated to buy th…

Does it even matter? I mean, stating "14 days delivery maximum" and then not fullfilling it in these 14 days is kind of a nono, but what do you wanna do? With these prices, HS has literally no competition. However, despite some data loss a…

(Quote) From .img to .zip to .iso... Depending on what needed.. If the connection is rather slow then one might only get a minimal version, and not the full blown desktop type. Question is, will you get i386 support as well then? Gave me great laug…

Wouldn't it be possible to set up some entry servers with good peering to your friends? And those entry servers acces the data somewhere else (eg. where it's stored right now)... Normally servers have better peering than home connections. Though, t…

@atomi You're right! My bad! Missed the 2022 (thought 2021). I got one myself, didn't know 2 year prepayment was possible

(Quote) EDIT: can't read, see the original comment below (Spoiler)

Oha, that's quite a price difference. Well, I think I'll stick to the overseas machine then. Thanks!

A double storage KVM500 in UK would be lovely. Tho, I got one in the US already.
-
(Quote) Yes, but my question was, without stating it explicitly, meant for the (somewhat common, idk) case, when it takes more than 15 minutes to find and/or resolve the problem. As I said, the text in the OP was confusing, atleast for me. Though, m…
-
(Quote) Okay, but then how do you answer this? (Quote) 15 minutes is quite a short time to evaluate and find the problem... How should a ticket be answered then?

(Quote) @AlwaysSkint I wouldn't believe so. But maybe Ant can do something for you, if you're lucky today :)

Let me be part of the "fun" forum. I'm in!

Is there any way to test the network performance (eg. looking glass or test files)? 1TB for 25€/y sounds tempting, I would prefer EU/UK tho. But for backup purposes it would be a nice machine... I canceled my NAT bundle weeks ago, so I can't test it…
-
Do you plan to offer these deals in EU too? I would love to get my hands on a KVM500 without the overseas latency :)
-
(Quote) I used the last topup in march and the expiry date is the same date as the payment happened. I believe this means no expiry date then.. The funds I have are still valid

Sounds interesting... Especially with JP and CH this gets a tad more exotic.

(Quote) The Lifetime Personal VPN is another product, isn't it? Therefore I would believe that this rule shouldn't affect normal deals, including Lifetime Deals. However, for 15 bucks, I would say that such a limit is a fair deal. Bandwidth isn't gr…

(Quote) The maximum I was able to measure was a bit less than 400 Mbps.. I guess that should be sufficient for most cases

(Quote) I think you maybe forgot the 50 TB in 50$/TB Anyway (Quote) Is this really achievable at ever pop? Or is it something like the total available sum wordwide? Logically I'd say that that's a maximum that could be available at one location. …

(Quote) Interesting, I did not know that. Another (new) limitation of OVZ. Regardless, I still prefer OVZ over KVM on low ram machines, where only a minimum of services are running, as they are mostly cheaper.

I had the same problem on another machine with 256mb ram I am using. Even ssh was not usable and the system hung every couple of seconds. I fixed it by adding 512MB swap. Don't know why it happened, but it fixed the server freezes permanently.

Well, with this little information we can't help much. The client conf looks ok as Sun May 3 23:10:48 2020 /sbin/ip route add 0.0.0.0/1 via 10.8.0.1 Sun May 3 23:10:48 2020 /sbin/ip route add 128.0.0.0/1 via 10.8.0.1 shows that the correct route …

Is there a possibility to mount the storage in linux? I haven't found a way after some quick research.. Only via their apps/website

Well, that does look quite good indeed. Unfortunately, VM-x is disabled. Do you know if it could be enabled? Thanks very much for the benchmark

Could you do a benchmark, please? Preferably yabs.sh
