(Quote) Considering the number of badly coded scripts reporting to RBLDNS's and abuseipdb I have little faith in any community sourced database. An example of this we see alot is the reporting of attack targets because the reporters own IP services…

Or perhaps sorted by date?

Search Results: (Image) (I was looking for the thread with all the bankrupt LET hosts from last years BF/CM) Looks like the first keyword drowned out all results...

The only question I would have for Apple is: Why is much of this not behind a VPN or strictly requiring access from VPN endpoint IP?

Gee this is relevant to a recent discussion I was having only hours ago on Discord. The webhosting market is a rare market that has over the past so many years decreased or maintained price. The $7 on limit on certain forums has it's part to play i…

If it's not handled by default we offer all customers custom Layer 7 mitigation rules. I'm happy to help write the rule when I have time if you are not able. It looks like it would be a very simple rule on any number of attributes. https://www.x4b.…

@sgheghele Each service is one /32 As long as you order before the end of the sale period you can trial or test anything using the pre-existing trial offer (see homepage).

The LES offer Piotr has made is many multiples below industry standards for pricing. If it's what you need (technology, locations, performance, support) I would take it. The closest we can even get to that is our current sale ($14) so I know that's …

(Quote) Good to know. We are an Australian company ourselves. Eventually an Australian PoP will be on the cards. Currently however we don't rank high enough in the cost benefit Analysis for new PoPs (at-least without a sponsoring customer). Unfortun…

A low number of datapoints. They most likely have a field say inBytes and are at regular intervals calculating inBytes[current] - inBytes[previous] and storing this in a datastore for graphing. In your case all your traffic was in one of these calc…

We do mitigation on our Anycast network. Works well as Anycast as a service too. Premium Network currently spans 9 cities over 3 continents.

There is nothing wrong with $/per core. A target of $1-2 would likely have gone over well. $6 is just laughable. Pretty much the only people who could afford that are massive oversellers. For them it's probably only 10c per VM...

The level of load usually used to measure caching metrics is not a DDoS by most peoples metrics. Even if mitigation does activate on your site/service it's not likely to cost your upstream anything and therefore not be cared about.

"nama saya splitice" is all the Indonesian I remember from 4 years learning it (bahasa indonesian I think).

@havoc look into tinc. It's great for stuff like that. Not the highest performing solution (Wireguard performs better) but simple and just works.

$7 1GB+ VPS from established providers will become less common. Wage & licencing increases will push out may quality players leaving only the fly by nights. I suspect some providers will re-evaluate $2-3 DDoS protected IPs. Primarily due to Vox…

It's one or two months added to the length of the service. There is no recurring element.

Mitigating on most VPS's you will be limited to the CPU you can use on a single RX queue. This combined with virtualization overheads really limits your PPS even if you can get a dedicated core. Virtio-multiqueue can help, but it's not commonly depl…

Can we get the plugin for Vanilla the saves the Quick reply box on reload?

Usually it's for failover so the failing end can be withdrawn if it's session fails.

(Quote) You can do that with DN42 too. When I was hooked up I did so I could connect my home on a dynamic IP via a VPS. We run iBGP between all our Filtering PoPs and between our Route sources (2) and each PoP for centralized BGP configuration. No …

Have you see DN42?

Rules feedback * An other category for offers would be nice. Forum feedback Pretty minor stuff * If the user is not granted PM access a link explaining that would be nice. Took me a while to grasp why I couldn't PM (email verification). * Love t…
