Look at the signature in the screenshot - I don’t answer my tickets!. Made me laugh.

Hi Ant (@InceptionHosting). Hope your keeping well. Just wondering if you are still planning to implement a Snapshot system?
-
(Quote) I didn’t read your blog post (obviously) but having looked at chapter 2 it differs from the linked article. Jeff has curated a list in his post which maybe of use to people looking for a built in self managed solution.

Have a read over this article from Jeff Star - https://perishablepress.com/wordpress-ultimate-comment-blacklist/. Useful info using built in WP tools.

Dejan has sent out an email saying that there was an issue with their DNS and has made a full report available in the interests of transparency. https://bunny.net/blog/the-stack-overflow-of-death-dns-collapse/

Hi @MikePT. Is VAT still chargeable for UK residents?
-
Beat me to it @nfn. Their BF offer on the RS2000 was a very similar amount per month with same contract period. I have one, great server.
-
(Quote) I am too. I think with the full features enabled such as resource usage, incremental backups, etc it’s going to be a good addition and I can replace CloudLinux and Jetbackup.
-
(Quote) Unfortunately haven’t got any Retail licences so can’t test it out at the moment. I was going to wait until full Pro pack features are released and then test it out with a trial Retail licence. Are you testing it out at the moment? What are…

I've been using this plugin (originally via Github) to manage DNS records between Cloudflare and DirectAdmin called DAFlare and found it really useful. It enables the ability to manage and sync DNS from the DA control panel directly and push the upd…

(Quote) Also, switch the dark theme button to left hand side as it interferes with back to top button
-
@mikho when changing to dark theme it condenses the navigation menu. I tested the dark theme plugin on another WP install and it does the same thing. Might be worth letting the devs know.

Why not BuyVM with a Slab. That way you have the flexibility to increase storage as and when required.
-
@DA_Mark have you decided about releasing the Pro Pack as an additional add-on for people with LT Licences or Datacentre Licences and what the pricing structure might look like for these?
-
@DA_Mark do you have anymore info on the Pro Pack. I have seen the installation doc for resource usage in 1.61.6 so looking like it could be ready to launch soon?

(Quote) If you have 13 years experience with hosting forums then surely you would know what was happening with the ‘competition’ wouldn’t you?

I wonder if all the OVH datacentres have got lovely wood flooring throughout or just isolated to SBG1

I would go with OpenLitespeed, as I have with all my servers. You can cache PHP without using the LSCache plugin with OpenLitespeed using RewriteRules in .htaccess. You can clear the cache using Cron if needed.
-
Haven’t seen any documentation from DA on it. Been playing around with it and works across all user levels - Admin, Reseller and User. Although I think the user level is better with the modern icon layout, just for familiarity of users (ex cPanel).

Just wondering if anyone here is running DirectAdmin prerelease binary. There has been a new theme added called Facelift. It looks similar to the existing Sidebar theme but appears to be a replacement for the Standard theme as when viewed on a mobil…

For pure static html builds I like Bootstrap. Theres loads of templates, tutorials, code blocks, etc to get you started and it’s really easy to learn.

(Quote) Only mod_rewrite rules are directly supported in .htaccess, for example you can’t set HTTP headers they need to be set using a context block. Sorry to derail the thread @Ympker.

(Quote) Are you running OLS across your hosting servers? How you finding using OLS with users and the .htaccess limitations?

I like the logo in the corner (both style B and the bike one). For the website I like the bike one, although I think the logo needs to be smaller as it takes up quite a bit of the main image as @angstrom said. Maybe change the background colour to b…

@Abdullah just wondering what the server specs are on the NAT bundle?
-
They have already accelerated growth. They’ve changed the pricing to add on VAT, when previously the prices included VAT. Therefore have an immediate increase in profits albeit for new customers and not existing as they stayed on the same terms.
-
Wow, amazing. A $30 charge to be able to pay in USD. Wondering if that’s another Oakley charge to generate a bit more cash for the bottom line as can’t see it costing €25 to create a new client account.
-
(Quote) That’s really nice of you @Falzo looking out for @angstrom best interests. What a gentleman ?

(Quote) Good news. If you have anymore issues with OLS or need to customise the OLS config files give me a shout. Happy to help out if possible.
